Large Wall Art
Most large wall art is a small file blown up until the detail dissolves. These are not. Each one starts from the full-resolution scan the archive itself publishes — often 8,000 to 10,800 pixels wide — so a 32×48 in print still carries the engraver's hatching, the soundings and the place names at over 200 dpi. A size appears here only when the scan can actually hold it.

Big, without being blown up
The scan is the limit, not the printer
Every product is measured against its own archive scan. 30×40 is offered on 81 pieces and 32×48 on 58 — the rest simply do not carry 200 dpi at that size, so the option never appears. That is why there is no 60 in size here.
Detail is the whole point at this scale
A large abstract can be a small file stretched. A 1755 Mitchell map cannot: at 32×48 in you are close enough to read the county names and the engraver’s hatching, which only survives if the file was that big to begin with.

How large do these actually go?
The largest sizes are 32×48 in and 30×40 in. A size is only offered when the archive scan itself carries 200 dpi at that size, so nothing here is an upscale — 58 pieces reach 32×48 and 81 reach 30×40. If you need 60 in or more, we are honest that a 17th-century copper engraving cannot hold detail at that scale, and we would rather not sell you a blurred one.
Is a large print framed or rolled?
Both. Framed comes in black, natural oak or white solid wood with an acrylic front, hanging hardware fitted, ready to hang. Unframed ships rolled in a tube on archival matte paper, or stretched over a wooden frame as canvas.
Will a big print look grainy close up?
No. Every large size is rendered from a master file of 8,000 to 10,800 pixels on the long edge, taken from the archive’s own scan. At 32×48 in that is still over 200 dpi, which is past the point most people can see individual dots at arm’s length.
What does a large print cost?
A 30×40 is $119 on paper, $229 on canvas and $269 framed. A 32×48 is $149, $289 and $349. US orders over $75 ship free.
