It is taller than it is wide. Every piece on this page is portrait, and the narrowest are offered at 12×24, 12×36, 18×36 and 24×48 for a tall narrow space — beside a door, up a stairwell, in a hallway or between two windows.
What suits a tall narrow wall?
Upright city plans, coastal surveys of long thin coastlines, Japanese woodblock prints in the hashira-e format, and patent drawings, which were nearly always drawn on portrait sheets. The size guide on each product page lists which wall each size suits.
How tall do they go?
Up to 48 in on the long edge. We do not offer 60 or 72 in: an original engraving does not carry enough detail to stay sharp at that height, and stretching one is the fastest way to make an archival print look like a poster.
Will a vertical print work in a pair or a set?
